Mercedes-Benz is on a roll to launch a slew of AMG spec machines in the Indian market and the latest entrant is expected to be the CLA45 AMG which will be the most low-priced AMG car in India but is expected to be one of the most exciting that will reach our shores. The car was unveiled for the New York Auto Show in March 2013 and has been on sale as a part of the CLA range in Europe and America since that time. It was unveiled for the Indian market at the 2014 Auto Expo.
Exterior
The Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is the hot version of the quite successful CLA sedan. It gets the same overall design as the standard car but now includes an AMG body kit. This comprises side skirts, sporty front bumper and a rear bumper that includes a diffuser with quad chrome-tipped exhausts integrated into it. The fascia is common to the MFA underpinned cars and so the CLA45 looks very similar in that regard to the A45 AMG and the GLA45 AMG. This defined by the flowing LED headlights and large Mercedes-Benz logo that stands out prominently in the middle.

The CLA shares a roofline with CLS-Class and it is no different with this car. It slopes forward and is accentuated by the V-shaped aerodynamic crease that run along the side and divides the profile into two clear sections. The tail lamps flow into the base of the boot while the wheels are AMG spec units found on almost all the AMG cars.
